SSD with Data Caching
What's a solid-state drive (SSD)? What is SSD caching and how does it work? Check out the main advantages of hosting your websites on an SSD-powered server.
A solid-state drive is substantially quicker than any normal hard-disk drive. It is because an HDD works by using rotating disks, which can rotate only so fast and the more data is read and written, the slower and warmer they get, while an SDD works with modules of flash memory, hence there aren't any physically moving parts. The access speeds for an SSD are significantly higher, which makes these drives the best solution every time speed is needed. Because of this SSDs are frequently employed for the Operating System on a personal computer and for keeping data which is used repeatedly on servers. Many service providers also use a combination of the two drives, so they save the data on HDDs, but they use a couple of SSDs in order to cache the more often used data and for that reason, the data loads much quicker while the load on the HDDs is lowered because their disks have to spin less often in order to read and write.

SSD with Data Caching in Shared Web Hosting
Our innovative cloud website hosting platform uses only SSD drives, so in case you get any of our
shared web hosting plans, you can take advantage of the speed that these drives provide. We no longer use hard disk drives, so your files, databases and e-mails will all load from quick SSDs. For even better performance, we also use caching solid-state drives. A group of drives are used by our system for every file that's accessed more often and the data on these drives is dynamically updated to make sure that all traffic-intensive files load from them. This way, the load on the primary drives is lowered, so we can provide exceptional performance for all sorts of websites irrespective of how frequently they're accessed and avoid a situation where some sites are affected by too many reading and writing processes created by others. This setup also increases the lifespan of the main drives and reduces the possibility of disk failure.

SSD with Data Caching in Semi-dedicated Servers
Provided you want speed and high-end performance for your sites, our
semi-dedicated server accounts shall be a very suitable solution because they're generated on a cloud platform which uses SSDs for each aspect of the service - e-mail addresses, databases and files. That way, every website that you host here will load fast. Similar to other service providers, we also use SSDs for caching, but since all storage drives are solid-state ones, you will be able to take advantage of the good performance all the time and regardless of the type of your Internet sites. The caching drives are used for load-balancing and all frequently accessed content is copied on them, which both lowers the load and provides the optimal performance of all sites that load directly from the primary drives. The lifespan of the latter is also increased since there will be a lot less reading and writing processes on them.
