An IP address is a unique number that separates a website or a server on the world-wide web, so if you have a dedicated IP, it will be employed just by your sites and will not be shared with other individuals as it happens with shared website hosting accounts. In case you have your own hosting server, you'll have a dedicated IP, but you may require extra ones for different uses. If you have a web-based store, for example, you'll need an SSL certificate for it, so as to make sure that the payment info which your clients submit shall be encrypted and protected. If you wish to use more IPs, you'll be able to order them with just two clicks anytime, as you will locate such an option both on our order page and inside your billing Control Panel. In the first case, the dedicated addresses will be available the minute the virtual server is set, while in the second - a few minutes after you order them. You'll be able to renew the IPs together with your VPS plan and use them for as long as you wish. They can be useful not only for your own sites, but also for the websites of any customers that you could have in the event that you are using the virtual server to run an Internet hosting reseller business. There is no restriction on how many times you can order additional IPs or on the amount of of them you could use with your machine at any given time.
Extra Dedicated IPs in Dedicated Servers
We supply 3 free dedicated IP addresses with each dedicated server that we offer, but if you require more, you may order them effortlessly and they will be assigned to your hosting server at once. The upgrade is available both on our order page and inside the billing CP, so you'll be able to get additional IPs whenever you need them - in the beginning or anytime later on. You could order the upgrade in increments of three and include as many IP addresses as you require at any moment. You could renew only the IPs which you want along with the web hosting plan, so if, eventually, you need less IPs, you could simply renew those which you need and the other ones will be removed from your web server.
